Solar energy utilization on a large scale in the USA is only starting to catch on. Other places around the world have started embracing solar energy as well as other forms of renewable energy, but solar energy in USA is quickly gaining momentum and will soon be a world leader in terms of this technology. And, once you think about it, there really isn’t any geographical location in the world that could benefit from solar energy more than the United States.
As with most things seen as progressive, California is leading the way when it comes to solar energy. Currently, the largest solar energy installation in the world is located there, and the California state legislature has made it a goal to use solar power to generate 33% or more of the states power needs by 2020. It is an ambitious goal, but if anyone can do it, they can.
Outside of the Southeastern United States, very few states are even coming close to exploring their potential when it comes to solar energy. Many are definitely taking initiative and are working hard to implement solar energy into their renewable energy plans, but they still have quite a long way to go. As long as they keep working at it, though, there is no doubt they will soon catch up to states like California and get a large portion of their power and electricity from solar energy.
Solar energy in USA is really taking off. It is poised to be one of the world’s leaders in solar power and lead the way when it comes to renewable energy. As long as sharp, brilliant people continue to take a passion in renewable energy, reducing greenhouse gas and developing new, more effective technologies when it comes to solar energy, there will be no shortage of power in the USA anytime soon! Solar energy in USA is the future of renewable energy!
